The Aarenau residential development, realized by Buero B, combines architectural clarity with a lively spatial design. Two three-storey buildings frame a permeable inner courtyard, whose colorful seepage asphalt, flowering trees and climbing plants create a differentiated living environment.
The exterior design plays with the contrast between quiet exterior surfaces facing the forest and rhythmic balcony fronts facing the courtyard.
The apartments, ranging from studios to spacious attic apartments, make use of the special location through their dual orientation: cooking areas facing the communicative inner courtyard, living spaces facing the natural surroundings.
