Bühnen Bern – Ballet 2026/27

Six productions. One season. Dance as tangible presence.

For the 2026/27 season of Bühnen Bern Ballett, key visuals were created for all six productions: Morgana, Echos of a Future, New Generation, How to fix a broken heart, Tanzplattform and Laboratoire Suisse de la danse.

At the centre is the human presence of the dancers — their physicality, their energy, their passion, their moment. All visual effects were created in camera: real light, real movement, real physical phenomena. This approach is not a technical constraint, but a deliberate choice — and one that speaks to the art itself. Theatre, ballet, opera: what defines Bühnen Bern is the tangible, the immediate, the human in the room. The photography follows the same logic.
